Davis Family Farms is a progressive crop farming operation owned by Matt and Paula Davis. Matt grew up on a family farm west of Greensburg. He is the son of Gary Davis of Saint Paul and Peggy (Firsich) Folkman of Batesville. Matt represents the fifth generation of the Davis family to farm in this area.
Matt is a Purdue University graduate with degrees in Agricultural Economics and Agronomy. In addition to farming, he has extensive work experience in Ag Finance lending capital to many of the most successful farming operations and Agribusinesses throughout the Midwest. He also serves on the Parish Finance Committee for St. Mary’s Church in Greensburg.
Paula is a daughter of the late Dennis Meyer and Marlene (Nobbe) Meyer of Greensburg. She comes from many generations of farmers in the area on both sides of her family. Paula is the music and band teacher at St. Mary’s School in Greensburg. She provides private piano lessons to many students and is an organist at St. Mary’s Church.
